Today I attended the Family Blessing Meeting at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower, Singapore. The service started with beautiful praise and worship by Pastor Sunny Prasad, from Bangalore. He’s the brother of famous Benny Prasad.
The praise and worship was awesome. People were led into the Presence of God.
After Praise and Worship, he shared the sermon on the greatness of God and asked people to focus on the Greatness of God, rather than murmering or complaining.
He started with Proverbs 30:25
There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceedingly wise:
Proverbs 30:25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; 26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; 28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.
The conies are feeble creatures and are attacked by hunters and animals for their fur and meat but in spite of their feebleness they hide among the clefts in the mountains. A huge mountain becomes hiding place for the corny.
Where do you run when you face problems?
Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Isaiah 40:9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
Focus on the greatness of your God.
Isaiah 40:12-14 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?
15 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.
17 All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
Our language is so weak to describe God. Whom can you compare to God? God’s is greater than any presidents. No one is equal to God.
Isaiah 40:26-27
Lift up your eyes on high,
And see who has created these things,
Who brings out their host by number;
He calls them all by name,
By the greatness of His might
And the strength of His power;
Not one is missing
Why do you say, O Jacob,
And speak, O Israel:
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
And my just claim is passed over by my God”?
Isaiah 49:14-15
But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
And my Lord has forgotten me.
“Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
Praise God for the wonderful time.
