On the 6th of Feb, Geenu and I attended the Special Blessing Meeting conducted by Dr. Paul Dhinakaran at the Salvation Army Church, Bishan, Singapore. The meeting started with beautiful praise and worship by the King of Glory Church choir team.
After praise and worship, sister Evangeline Paul shared a brief message and prayed a special blessing for all the people.
After the prayers, Dr Paul Dhinakaran took the stage and encouraged the people to volunteer as prayer warriors at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower, Singapore. He shared the testimony of a couple who were blessed when they served as prayer warriors at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Singapore. Just as when Job prayed for his friends, God blessed him with abundance, in the same way, when we pray for others, God will bless us, said Dr Paul. He then led the people into worship and prayed for God’s blessings over the people.
Dr Paul Dhinakaran shared the sermon, quoting Acts 7:49.
49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
God is thinking about us all the time. He cannot be confined to a building although it’s a place consecrated for worship. God dwells in your heart.
Revelation 3:20
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
God loves to have His throne in our heart. Today as we open our hearts, He makes our body His Holy Temple. He is in us and with us. He makes our body His own throne. When God dwells in your heart, you will experience Heaven. That’s the reason, God is thinking about you all the time, said Dr Paul Dhinakaran. When the King of kings is in your heart, you will have authority, you will have His power.
Proverbs 28:1
28 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
God will make you bold, you will rise up, you will have no fear, you will have Satan crushed under your feet. God will grant you His Divine Authority. The way God operates in heaven, the same way He operates in our heart.
Dr Paul then described the Trinity – God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and their distinct roles.
What is the role of God the Father? He’s the Planner.
Hebrews 4:3
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
God knows everything. He has planned everything for those whose heart is open to Him. He operates His plans in our life.
Romans 8:28
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
He may take you to the path of storm, desert, difficulties, but in the end it will work out for good.
Genesis 28:11-14
11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
13 And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Jacob was running from his brother Esau, but God had plans for Jacob. He blessed Jacob with double portion blessings.
What is the role of Jesus? His role is to intercede for God’s plan to fulfill in our lives. Jesus prays for God’s plan to be fulfilled in our lives.
Romans 8:34
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Hebrews 12:24
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
The blood of Jesus speaks good things for us. Jesus is called the Word of God. When you read the Word, the plan of God will be established in your life, said Dr Paul Dhinakaran.
Revelation 5:8
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
Revelation 8:3-5
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
Dr Paul, then described how our prayers are presented before God’s throne quoting the above scriptures. He shared the examples of how God answers prayers:
- It comes as a voice (or noise in some translation). Matthew 17:5 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
- It comes as a thunder. Acts 2:2 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
- It comes as a lightening. Luke 10:18 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
- It comes as an earthquake. 15 And there was trembling in the host, in the field, and among all the people: the garrison, and the spoilers, they also trembled, and the earth quaked: so it was a very great trembling.
Romans 8:26
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
The Holy Spirit knows the mind of God and intercedes with groanings which cannot be uttered. Just as Jesus intercedes our prayers to Father, the Holy Spirit takes our tongue and helps us through making intercession for us. He intercedes with groanings which cannot be uttered. Due to this result of intercession, the Bible says God who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. The Holy Spirit connects God and a person physically. The Bible says that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit – 1 Corinthians 6:19.
Isaiah 28:11
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
Dr Paul mentioned that your own tongue will prophecy for you. When the Holy Spirit comes and fills you, He will give you the mind of Christ. Whatever you speak, it will happen.
John 14:26
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Where there is love, there is no fear. God loves you and will bless you beyond measure. When you confess the Word of God, it will come to pass, said Dr Paul.
Finally, Dr Paul led the people into worship and prayed for God’s blessings to be poured on His People. The Anointing was powerful as he prayed.
After the service, people queued up to be prayed by Dr Paul, Sis Evangeline Paul and Sister Stella Dhinakaran.
