Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
Faith is very important to God. We have to live by faith, act by Faith, and fight the good fight of Faith.
Why Faith is important?
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
God’s a wonderful Father and He’s not difficult to please. God by nature is a rewarder. When God rewards us, we will know about it. Faith pleases God. If God says it, we can trust Him. If we are not sure, it hurts God that we don’t trust Him.
How Faith works?
Mark 11:23
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
What’s a mountain? Any problem is a mountain if that looks impossible for us to overcome. The moment we speak to our mountain, we are introducing the mountain to God. Our goal is to cast the mountain into the sea.
Faith is a supernatural goal that opens your door, it has 2 hinges – believing and speaking – Kenneth Haggin
First thing about Faith is to speak to your situation, speak to your sickness. Jesus emphasis speaking part 3 times and believing only 1 time.
Believe, Speak, Speak, Speak.
For every believe we do, we must speak atleast three times.
Mark 11:12-14
Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13 And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it.
Mark 11:19-20
19 When evening had come, He went out of the city. 20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
God wants us to come to a place that if what we say doesn’t happen, we should be shocked.
Nobody spoke like Jesus Christ. When Jesus spoke, sick were healed, lepers were cleansed, demons fled.
Any man can be changed by Faith no matter how he may be fettered – Smith Wigglesworth.
Faith must be our chief occupation. You got to believe and boldly speak.
Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.
Whatever happens outside our life is determined by what’s happening inside our life.
Our life is like a tree.
Matthew 12:35-37 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart[a] brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
The key to your victory or your lack of victory is your mouth.
Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit
Psalms 39:1
I said, “I will guard my ways,
Lest I sin with my tongue;
I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle,
While the wicked are before me.
You go to learn to revalue your words.
God created Adam. Everything Adam said came to pass.
Mark 5:21 Now when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and He was by the sea. 22 And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet 23 and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.” 24 So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.
Mark 5:35-36
35 While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” 36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”
The devil will try to paint a picture so bad that you may not have hope but hold fast your confession.
To activate the power of confession, Jesus had to say publicly.

Next to the law of love is the power of confession.
Genesis 1: 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Everything God did, He did by speaking the word. Nothing came unto being until after He said the word.
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Words have tremendous power to create.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Our calling is to be the custodian of God’s thoughts and His words.
Everything Adam said, it worked.
Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.
Our words are the key to lock/unlock our future.
Proverbs 18:21
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
You are the sum total of what you say! Whatever you say will determine your destiny!
Proverbs 6:2
you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth.
Don’t’ confess whatever God didn’t say in His Word.
Genesis 31:32 But if you find anyone who has your gods, that person shall not live. In the presence of our relatives, see for yourself whether there is anything of yours here with me; and if so, take it.” Now Jacob did not know that Rachel had stolen the gods.
Rachel died at a young age after she gave birth.
Proverbs 30:32 If you have been foolish in exalting yourself,
Or if you have devised evil, put your hand on your mouth
Satan cannot release anything in your life with your words. You got to revere your words. Don’t say anything that God has not spoken.
What’s the fight of faith? The fight of faith is the fight for your own words. Can you control yourself not to speak death?
Mark 11:22-25
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
Your mountain will obey you. Don’t doubt. Train yourself not to consider negative. Do’t keep thinking it again and again. Don’t consider the negative, speak God’s word to the problem. Satan told Eve, Did God really said?
Luke 16:16-17
“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it. 17 It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.
Romans 4:19-21 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
Whatever situation you are going through, you got to focus on the Word of God.
2 Kings 4:18-20 The child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the reapers. 19 He said to his father, “My head! My head!” His father told a servant, “Carry him to his mother.” 20 After the servant had lifted him up and carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap until noon, and then he died.
When he saw her in the distance, the man of God said to his servant Gehazi, “Look! There’s the Shunammite! 26 Run to meet her and ask her, ‘Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?’”
“Everything is all right,” she said.
27 When she reached the man of God at the mountain, she took hold of his feet. Gehazi came over to push her away, but the man of God said, “Leave her alone! She is in bitter distress, but the Lord has hidden it from me and has not told me why.”
28 “Did I ask you for a son, my lord?” she said. “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t raise my hopes’?”
29 Elisha said to Gehazi, “Tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand and run. Don’t greet anyone you meet, and if anyone greets you, do not answer. Lay my staff on the boy’s face.”
30 But the child’s mother said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.
31 Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or response. So Gehazi went back to meet Elisha and told him, “The boy has not awakened.”
32 When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch. 33 He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the Lord. 34 Then he got on the bed and lay on the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out on him, the boy’s body grew warm. 35 Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out on him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.
36 Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite.” And he did. When she came, he said, “Take your son.” 37 She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out.

Everything Jesus did, He did through words.
Luke 4: 38 Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. 39 So he bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.
Mark 4: 37-41
37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!
Every challenge you face is a test of faith/opportunity for you to exercise your faith. We are to be a person of Faith.
How did Jesus raised Lazarus? John 11:43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”
How did Jesus feed multitudes?
Luke 9:13 He replied, “You give them something to eat.” They answered, “We have only five loaves of bread and two fish—unless we go and buy food for all this crowd.” 14 (About five thousand men were there.) But he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”
A law is a principle based on predictable consequences of action. A law is something that works the same way every time. Confession is a law. Every time we speak, we can predict what will happen.
Luke 5:4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” 5 Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” 6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” 9 For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken,
Law is predictable. A law is a principle that works every time.
Mark 11:23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
The word confession in Greek is homologeo, speaking the same as the Word of God, saying what Jesus has said. To know what God says, go to the Bible.
Romans 10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim
Faith comes by hearing the Word. Fear goes by hearing the Word. How not to be anxious? Trust the Word of God. Bible is a supernatural book. It tells me who I am. The divine Word must be in your heart. It has to be in your conversation/confession.
Isaiah 55:11
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
My job is to believe, to speak. Speak the word only.
Luke 4:18-19
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
Mark 4:4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.” 9 Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” 10 When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables.”
All the scriptures Jesus quoted was from the OT.
How did Jesus resurrect from the dead?
Matthew 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Matthew 16:21 21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
Matthew 17:23 and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful.
God wants us to speak the word only. Every word Jesus spoke was from the Bible or what the Father said to Him. The Word of God is controller of our life.
Proverbs 3:6
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct[a] your paths.
Philemon 1:6
that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
The more we publicly confess the Word of God, the more we have the mountain moving power. Our confession got to be public.
Matthew 10:32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
Luke 12:8 Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God.
Psalms 103:20
“Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
We are the voice of His Word on the earth. If you speak life, angels move; if you speak death, demons move. God is ready to dispatch His angels if you speak the Word of God.
Numbers 13:28-33
28 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.”
30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” 32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. 33 There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
Numbers 14:1-3 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! 3 Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?”
Numbers 14:30 Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.
We rise and fall to the level of our confession.
Joshua 14:7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to spy out the land, and I brought back word to him as it was in my heart.
Joshua 14: 10 And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the Lord spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old.
Our words truly control our destiny.
Matthew 16:18-19 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed[a] in heaven.
What are the keys? The keys are your words.
