On the 19th March 2014, 7:30 pm, I attended the Kingdom Invasion evening session at the Singapore Expo Hall 1.
The service started with beautiful praise and worship by Martin Smith. It was an awesome sight to behold during the song “God’s Great Dance floor”.
After beautiful Praise and Worship, Pastor Bill Johnson shared the sermon titled “Apostolic Mandate”. The term Apostle is a Greek word borrowed by Romans. When the Romans conquered a city, they assigned a military leader to the conquered nation. He was responsible for changing the culture of the conquered nation and make the country look like Rome. It was the responsibility of the Apostle, that the conquered land become like Rome.
Matthew 6:9
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’ 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
The Prayer in Matthew 9 is an Apostolic Prayer. Jesus took a secular term by Romans and labeled them to his disciples.
Any time we talk about the Kingdom, we are discussing a family. The Church is a family with God being our Father. The Church is not a corporate or an institution. When it comes to family, different opinions should be welcomed. Our assignment is to make this world look like heaven. Prayer is a military assignment, not in the sense of a physical war, but in a spiritual sense of war against the devil that keeps the people locked in sin.
The predominant feature in Heaven is that God is everywhere. Everything rotates around the Presence of God. We must learn to recognize the Presence of God.
The Church today gathers around the message preached in the pulpit but Israelites in the days of wilderness gathered around the Presence of God.
The Presence of God must be discover-able, valued, and sovereign. Learn to recognize God’s Presence in good times and bad times. How does this affect Church life? What changes have to be made in the gathering? You can live by the Kingdom Principles, but Jesus ministered out of Presence. You can apply the principles for healing but Jesus seemed to minister out of something greater.
Luke 5:17 And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick
Prayer is meaningless if we don’t value the Presence of God. There are some things which God releases only to a son.
In the Book of Mark, Jesus says, unless and until you become like a little child you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Certain breakthroughs, God will not release to a soldier. He will release only to a child. The soldier obtains breakthrough because he has used the God given authority. The child obtains breakthrough because of his identity, said Bill Johnson.
The Heart of God beats for His people. It’s not just because of principles that God heals, but it’s His heart beat. Jesus came to reveal the Father – John 16. The Holy Spirit let Jesus knew the heart of Father.
Jesus didn’t go to the Tax Collectors home to shame them, neither to shame the adulteress woman but to show God’s love.
Later Bill Johnson led the people into worship. The Presence of God was beautiful as he led the people into worship. He invited people who wanted to accept Jesus as their Savior to come forward. People, young and old, responded to the altar call.
The service ended at around 10:30 pm. Praise God for a wonderful time 🙂
