Sister Teresia Wairimu, from Kenya shared the Word of God during the evening session of the Day 1, School of Evangelism.
She shared on the importance of Prayer in the life of a believer.
Prayer is a way to communicate to God. It is one of the key main weapon to wage war against the enemy. If you want the power of God, you got to pray. Prayer is the key that shuts and opens.
We must mix faith with prayer. Faith and Prayer goes together.
Jesus said, if you have faith as a mustard seed, command the mountains to move and it will move.
The children of Israel, cried out to God and so God raised Moses. We need to be consistent in prayer. Moses was a man of prayer.
Proverbs 3: 5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
David always sought God. He knew how to inquire from God.
God wants to speak to us. We need to be a praying people. Prayer makes us dependent on God. Prayer takes discipline. God’s looking for a people who seek Him. We must hunger for God. Your first mission is intimacy with God. There is nothing like being in the Presence of God.
There is no way to tap into the Presence of God until you know how to pray.
In evangelism never fear confrontation. Pray before you go to the battlefield. We got to know how to seek God in prayer.
You’re God’s axe. We are builders with God. You cannot sustain a ministry without prayers. Ministry is a marathon. So we must know how to pray. It’s God’s will that you pray. We need to pray for nations.
Jesus taught, how to pray. We got to train ourselves how to pray. We must set apart time for God.
While Peter was in prison, the Church prayed causing a supernatural intervention from God.
Never allow the enemy to touch your prayer life. Any time, you’re trapped by enemy, rush to God in prayer. A ministry without prayer has no power.
We need to understand how the Holy Spirit speaks. Holy Spirit abides with us. Prayer is power. When we seek God sincerely, He answers. We cannot fear in the battlefield.
When Paul and Silas were put in the innermost prison, they began to sing hymns and praise. Suddenly God showed up in prison. There is going to be a shaking prophesied sister Teresia.
After the sermon, Sister Teresia prayed for the congregation. The anointing was awesome as she prayed. Praise God for the wonderful time:)
