Today, Geenu and I, attended Family Blessing Meeting at Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Midview city, Bishan. We were touched by the simple and powerful message by Evangelist Paulson from Peniel Faith ministries, Singapore. The service started at 6:15 pm with praise and worship. The anointing was beautiful during the worship. After worship, Paulson preached the sermon on Being a Mighty Warrior. Many Christians doubt whether God is hearing their prayers. During the initial times, they are excited that God has answered their prayers, but later due to trials and tribulations, they doubt whether God is still with them. “Christian life is full of ups and downs” said Paulson.
Quoting Judges 6:12 – And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”, Paulson preached God has called us to be mighty warriors. You might be alone or facing a hopeless situation, but God says, I am with you. God calls you a mighty warrior.
If we are in tribulation, it will direct us to God. In Psalms, we read David mentioning that because of tribulation, he turned towards God’s commandments. God may permit troubles on our way to make us mighty warriors. During any troubles, praise God all the time. Without troubles, you cannot become mighty warrior. Gideon was not ready but God made him a warrior through tribulation. We must over come sorrows and tribulation to be a mighty warrior.
In Genesis, we read, Jacob depended on the family blessings, he thought he will be happy, but later he had run for his life. Genesis 28:15 – 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
“As Jacob, sometimes, we may be left alone and we will have to depend on God alone. God will use you to bless the people and preach the Gospel. If you face problems, do not question God. God’s with you”, said Paulson.
Isaiah 43:2 – When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
Just as God enabled Israelites to cross the red sea, in the same way, God will enable us to overcome all the problems. God gave Peter faith to walk over the sea. Even if we are in fire, it will not touch us. Like Daniel, the flames will not touch our lives. All the promises of God in Him are Amen. The promises of God will definitely be fulfilled in our life. But God has to make you a mighty warrior first.
Mathew 28:20 – 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.[a]
“Jesus is always with us till the end of the age. The Lord wants to make you a witness to the nations. God has a definite purpose to put you in this nation. Let’s commit ourselves to God. The Lord has promised to be with us all the life”, preached Paulson.
Acts 7:10 10 and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
God permitted troubles in Joseph’s life, he was hated by his own brothers, sold as a slave, put in prison, but in spite of all the troubles, he drew closer to God. God who’s with Joseph will also be with us. God is capable of removing all trials and tribulation from our lives. If God’s with us, we will also receive grace and wisdom from Him. He will prosper us. We must repent and come to God.
After preaching, Paulson prayed for each one individually. I was amazed by the gift of Holy Spirit being poured out on the individuals when he prayed. We also went for prayers, and he prayed a special blessing over our lives.
