Thomas Diary - A walk through my life

On the 15th Nov 2014, Saturday I attended the Family Blessing meeting at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower, Little India.

The service started with beautiful praise and worship. The Presence of God was awesome.

After praise and worship, Rev. Dr Babu Dayanand from the Landmark Church, Singapore shared the Word of God. He shared a wonderful testimony of his own life about God raising him up from various trials and tribulations.

In 1978, at the age of 9, he fell from a platform on to the train tracks. The commuters saw him fall and told him to lie down from the approaching train. He covered his head with his hands, but lost his right hand in the accident. At the government hospital where he was treated, an elderly woman gave him a Christian tract and told him that when he grew up, he must serve the Lord.

During his recovery in the hospital, three Christian physiotherapists, taught him how to write with his left hand.

Later in life, before the final year school results were declared, his mother enrolled him into a Bible college. He also got chance to do his B.Com. He completed the courses successfully and now holds 6 degrees through God’s favor.

He mentioned, God wants to give breakthrough in our life, in biz, in family. Most of us have a need in our day to day life.

John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

John 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

2 Corinthians 11:32, 33 In Damascus the governor under King Aretas had the city of the Damascenes guarded in order to arrest me. 33 But I was lowered in a basket from a window in the wall and slipped through his hands.

When God’s with you, you’re more than a conqueror.

His son asked him for an ice cream in the middle of the night. Because of the boldness of his son, he was forced to grant his request. In the similar way, when we approach the throne of God, we must ask with boldness.

Give thanks for what you have from God. Give thanks for what you’re expecting from God. Proclaim God’s promises from the Word of God for your life.

Proverbs 18:21

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit

What you have in your hands, when you give to Jesus, He will multiply it. Whatever the locust has eaten, He will give you a double portion.

After the sermon, he prayed for the people. The Anointing was awesome. People came forward for healing and personal prayers. Praise God for a wonderful time.
