Today, Geenu and I attended City Harvest Church at Singapore Expo Hall 1. We took MRT from Marymount at around 9:15 am and reached Expo MRT at 10 am, it was another 15 minutes walk to Expo Hall 1. Geenu is 2 months pregnant now, so she couldn’t walk fast as earlier. The service started at 10am, we were late by 15 minutes but we were there for Worship. The sermon was led by Advisory Pastor Phil Pringle from Australia, senior pastor of C3 Church. The title of the message was Faith: Who we are and What We have. He taught that we must confess the Word of God and speak positive things to our situations in life. You will see many facets of God depending on your attitude. Bible says we must magnify the Lord. The reason we must magnify is so that our problems should not seem to be greater than our Lord.
Romans 11:20
New King James Version (NKJV)
20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.
When you have unbelief, you expect bad things, but when you are aware that you’re under Grace of God, you expect good things in your life.
Philemon 1:6
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you[a] in Christ Jesus.
If you’re in Christ, you’re powerful. On your own, you’re powerless. But in Christ, you can defeat the devil. Devil is an identity thief. In Christ, you’re complete, you’re overcomers, we are kings ruling in our world, image of God in the earth, sons of God.
We have dominion, authority, wisdom of God, power of God in Holy Spirit, power over devil, prosperity, healing, forgiveness, adoption, sanctification, redemption, inheritance, every blessing, regeneration, justification.
Power = Dunnamis, Energy. Exousia = God given authority in Christ.

28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, 29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Luke 10:19

Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant
5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, 6 saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”
7 And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! 11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.
Like the centurion, we must know the authority God has given to us. We must walk like Kings in the Earth. The greater we are aware about the authority, the greater we can walk in Faith.
Later at the end of the sermon, Pastor Phil Pringle, invited people who wanted to accept Jesus as their Savior to come forward. Around 25 -30 people came to the dais and he personally shook hands and greeted them and led them the prayer of Salvation. The service ended with a beautiful praise song. After the service, I bought the latest book of Pastor Phil Pringle – You the Leader (www.youtheleader.com) for 25 SGD and then we went to John Little exhibition at Hall 4 and bought a bag. We had delicious Masala Dosa from the food court. Geenu was feeling tired, so we didn’t attend the Malayalam fellowship and left home by MRT at around 2 pm from Expo. It was 3:30 pm when we reached home.
Praise God for a wonderful weekend.
