On the 8th of March, 2014 I attended Sister Stella Dhinakaran’s meeting organized by the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower Singapore, at the Christ Church.
The meeting started at 7 pm with beautiful praise and worship. The Anointing was awesome during worship.
After praise and worship, Sister Stella Dhinakaran shared the sermon titled “God of Peace”.
Psalms 29:11 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
How does God gives His Peace?
Isaiah 55:3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
Ephesians 2:15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,
Colossians 2:14-15 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms
We must look to the Cross. Without the cross we cannot have peace, said Sister Stella Dhinakaran.
2 Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!
We become a new man when we receive God’s peace.
1 Timothy:13-14 3 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
God can transform us as He transformed Saul. The Grace of God will fill our soul. He will take out all the unwanted things.
Paul says in Galatians 2: 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.
What type of Peace God gives?
- Perfect Peace: Isaiah 26: 3You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
To receive this Perfect Peace, we must do these 2 things:
- Psalms 37: 5 Commit your way to the Lord;trust in him and he will do this:
- Psalms 31: 19 How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you
We must have a close walk with God to receive this perfect peace.
1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Chronicles 16:9 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
Cling to the Presence of God, that can give you peace and solve your problems, said Sister Stella Dhinakaran.
How to have the Presence of God?
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
“Tell God all your problems, husband and wife should share their problems under the Presence of God. Don’t neglect prayer. Build your home only with prayers. All the family members should come together and pray.” said Sister Stella Dhinakaran.
She mentioned that God will make you a peace maker. In the Christian life, we have to move forward. Some people are happy being saved even after 25 years.
Ephesians 4:11-15
1 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
“When you walk with God, God will make you a Peace Maker. From today, God wants to make you a peace maker. Perfect peace will come in to your family. God will use you to bring peace.” prayed Sister Stella Dhinakaran.
James 3:18 8 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness
Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Finally, she encouraged the audience to share their problems with God. He will bring perfect peace to their problems. As you hear the Word of God, He will bless your soul with peace. After the sermon, she led the audience into prayers. It was an awesome time. The Anointing of God was awesome.
